The Manufacturer’s CMMC Readiness Checklist

Seven questions to answer before you spend more money.

Before you sign another statement of work, license another platform, or add another enclave subscription, make sure you can answer seven questions with confidence. This checklist walks manufacturers through contracts, CUI, data flow, scope, evidence, ownership, and spending: the same sequence independent advisors use to tell whether a company’s CMMC picture is actually clear enough to act on.

Why download it?

Many manufacturers start buying tools, licenses, enclave services, or consulting hours before they’ve validated what their contracts actually require or where their controlled information really lives. That spending isn’t wrong. It’s premature, and premature spending is expensive to undo. This checklist is built to show you exactly where your answers are solid and where they’re still “unsure,” so your next dollar is aimed at a confirmed requirement instead of a guess.

Who it’s for

  • Manufacturers in the defense industrial base

  • DIB suppliers and subcontractors of any tier

  • DoD / Department of War contractors and subcontractors

  • Any organization that received CMMC or NIST SP 800-171 requirements through a customer or prime contractor’s flow-down language

What’s inside

Seven short sections (Contracts, Information, Data Flow, Scope, Evidence, Ownership, and Spending), each a yes / no / unsure question you can answer in the room, plus guidance on what to do if you land on “unsure” for the first four.

You’ll get the checklist either way. The checkbox above is optional. Check it only if you’d also like occasional CMMC guidance from DTS IT Advisors. Leaving it unchecked will not subscribe you to marketing emails.
